Welcome to the Office of International Education

The Office of International Education (OIE) supports international education efforts for students and faculty throughout the ten campuses of the University of Hawai`i. We oversee the University`s international agreements and exchanges with partner institutions. Through these exchange programs with universities around the world, the University of Hawai`i is able to offer students and faculty opportunities for overseas study, teaching, and research in a diversity of fields. OIE also serves as a resource for individuals seeking information and support for international events or programs.

The University`s long-standing interest in International Education has attracted a wealth of academic expertise, resources, and linkages. The campuses of the University of Hawai`i system undertake a variety of international programs and projects, reflecting their commitment to developing institutional expertise in international education, with a particular focus on the Asia and Pacific region.
